Poor management is at the heart of everything that is wrong with CVS. Management has no idea what their employees do. I have never work for a company where management is so clueless about the work employees perform. Therefore, you are not likely to get the help or assistance you need. Work-life-balance is not great.
You work hours a week just to keep up. The best thing about the job is the remote work opportunity but based on how much you will work you may do better and work in someone's office. There is NO work-life balance. It's a pretty cut-throat environment. Not very collaborative because everyone is remote and can't be bothered to help you. The culture is highly silo. What is a typical day like for you at the company? A typical day at work was responding to emails from different stakeholders, putting together weekly reports, reviewing quality monitoring inputs for accuracy and analyzing data for trends.
I learned that most of the stakeholders did not like change; which made it a challenge to be innovative. Overall, the management was good. There was a huge gap in communication though, which became very frustrating; especially because most people are working remotely. The hardest part of the job was staying focused despite the lack of communication. The most enjoyable part of the job was receiving adhoc request at any given time.
There are certain periods when the day is predictable, but I especially enjoyed the times when the day was not so predictable. Cons Lack of Communication. There is no work life balance. You are underpaid based upon the amount of work that you are expected to do within a day or a week which was basically and physically impossible unless you worked 14 hours a day.

Leadership would never admit that they made a mistake and would go to great lengths to cover up or flat out ignore issues.
Work life balance was poor, the pay was not nearly enough for the stress and demanding schedule of the job. The right people were not held accountable. If you are offered an opportunity within the company and you accept, other stakeholders still have to approve you moving to a new role and you run a legitimate risk that they delay your transition.
